Utah’s newest lift-served mountain biking location opens June 14 here at Woodward Park City. And it’s also the first lift-served Park City mountain biking to open this summer!

All three flow trails, built by Alpine Bike Parks to cover all ability levels, will be ready to roll. Our BMX dirt jumps will be opening soon, stay tuned for more information on those.

We’re committed to providing a safe place for riders to get their laps in; so we’re maintaining social distancing in the lift line, regularly cleaning the lift throughout the day, and limiting the number of riders who can access our lift on a daily basis.

Our rental shop also opens on June 14, offering a brand spanking new fleet of Transition full suspension bikes, Fox full face MTB helmets, and more protective gear.

Also on June 14, we’re opening more of the indoor Action Sports Hub as part of our phased reopening in accordance with state and local safety guidelines. The trampoline & parkour zone and the airbags will join the already open concrete park, pump track, and ramps. Food & beverage service will also resume upstairs at the Grind, in addition to the Hive.

What to Expect

Some of the way lift access works this summer will sound familiar, but there some new wrinkles as we create a space that’s safe for guests, staff, and the community, including:

  • Advance Registration: All guests and members must book a lift session online prior to visiting. The number of guests who can access the lift every day will be capped, so there is no direct-to-lift access for members at this time.

  • Hours: Hot Laps Quad spins 10:00am-8:00pm every day

  • All-day Lift Access: Lift tickets are valid all day long, as opposed to indoor sessions which run 90 minutes

  • Health Screening: Prior to entry, all staff and guests will be asked to complete a short verbal medical screening. On a daily basis, staff will have their temperature taken and undergo medical screenings onsite.

  • Sanitization: Staff & guests will be expected to wash and sanitize hands regularly and avoid shaking hands or giving high-fives. Staff will clean and disinfect the facilities throughout the day and after-hours with a focus on high-touch surfaces and high-traffic surfaces.

  • Social Distancing: Practice social distancing of 6 feet in passive areas and 10 feet in activity zones. Avoid congregating in parking lots or on trails.

  • Face Coverings: For staff, face coverings are required in all indoor work areas; in addition, we will provide PPE to employees.  Guests are expected to wear face coverings when practical.

  • Capacity: All sessions will be capped.

  • Food & Beverage: Limited food and beverage will be offered inside at the Hive and the Grind.
