It’s a privilege to share our passion for action sports with Woodward Park City members, guests, and campers; and we’re stoked about the opportunity to do that again as Summit County transitions to the Stabilization Phase of recovery and we reopen our doors for modified operations.

With that passion in mind, we want to share with you the specific steps we are taking to assure the health and safety of our staff, guests, and community this summer. We also want to identify behaviors we expect all visitors to uphold when at Woodward Park City, as responsible use of our facility will be crucial to a successful summer season.

First, the steps we are taking, approved by the Summit County Health Department, include:

  • Closing access to parts of the indoor Action Sports Hub and limiting the number of guests allowed on site at any one time

  • More frequent cleaning of common areas including food service areas, bathrooms, and door handles (with cleaning products approved by EPA for fighting COVID-19)

  • Increased hand sanitizing stations throughout indoor Action Sports Hub

  • Daily temperature checks for all staff when they arrive for work

  • Social distancing: floor markings and physical barriers placed at point-of-sale locations

  • Face coverings are worn by all staff

  • Additional medical and janitorial staff onsite

  • Changing foot traffic patterns inside and outside the Action Sports Hub

  • Reduced seating capacity in The Hive dining area, closing access to The Grind dining area

The steps mentioned above are the result of careful consideration by our staff for how we can best manage health and safety at Woodward Park City, and are approved by County authorities. In addition, in order to further assure a safe environment, we ask the following of our guests this summer:

  • If you have a cough, fever, or feel generally unwell, please wait and come see us another day when you feel better

  • Your cooperation during a brief medical screening when you arrive at Woodward Park City

  • Maintain 6 feet of distance from anyone not in your immediate family when in Woodward common areas like the entryway or The Hive dining area

  • Maintain 10 feet of distance from anyone when in activity zones like the concrete parks, ramps, pump tracks, etc.

  • Sneeze or cough into a tissue

  • Avoid shaking hands, high fives, or any other unnecessary physical contact

  • Wear a face covering

  • Wash and sanitize hands regularly

  • Do not congregate in parking areas, on trails, at trailheads, or other outdoor spaces in groups larger than 20 people

  • No cash transactions, as we are encouraging “touchless payments”

We’re excited and proud to play a part in the community’s economic recovery and provide a place for people to reconnect with their passions for action sports and fun. At the same time, we’re mindful of our responsibility to do so in a safe manner. We look forward to seeing you back at Woodward Park City, whenever that may be, and thank you in advance for playing your own active role in promoting the safety of our guests and staff.
